The ACP seeks to promote emotional wellbeing and happiness for children as a top priority. Giving children and young people space, free of targets and pressure to achieve, is vital for psychological health.
The Telegraph printed an article about English children who were placed 14th out of 15 countries for overall life satisfaction according to a ten year research study from the University of York.
Researchers, commissioned by The Children’s Society charity, said children were partly unhappy as a result of being bullied and reported that they often felt left out. Levels of unhappiness at school were higher among teenagers. Read more here
